Dr. Joseph Magnant is the premier Vein Specialist in Southwest Florida. Dr. Magnant is a board-certified vascular surgeon, 100% dedicated to providing his patients the most cutting edge technology for the diagnosis and treatment of their venous disease. Dr. Magnant founded Vein Specialists in 2006 in Fort Myers and subsequently expanded to Bonita Springs/Naples in 2014. Both of our offices feature ultrasound labs accredited by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission and staffed with Registered Vascular Technologists who allow us along with our highly skilled Nurse Practitioners to formulate the best treatment plan for each individual patient.

At Vein Specialists, we perform our procedures in a sterile outpatient setting under local anesthesia.  This approach allows patients to avoid the risks of general or regional anesthesia and other hospital-related inconveniences and ensures efficient treatment and a quick nearly painless recovery.

We offer endovenous ablation or closure with both laser and radiofrequency catheters as well as the newest technique utilizing medical adhesive called Venaseal.  Dr. Magnant also performs injection sclerotherapy and the removal of varicose veins via very small incisions called microphlebectomy when appropriate.  In 2017, we added an outpatient angiographic imaging suite to provide patients intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and venous stents for pelvic congestion and iliac vein compression syndrome. Vein Specialists has also served as a training center for physicians around the country interested in learning venous ablation techniques.
